It begins in ruins
Empire Zero opens on an old, broken fortress. Its walls are cracked, its keep is crumbling and no banner has flown over it in years.
This ruin is yours. With careful planning and steady effort you will clear it, rebuild it and transform it into a powerful medieval empire. Nothing is handed to you: every building, every soldier and every stone in your walls is something you earn.

Raise a settlement worth defending
A fortress is only as strong as the kingdom behind it. Grow yours one decision at a time.
Manage your resources
Production buildings supply the materials you need. Warehouses store them, and smart management keeps construction moving.
Progress while away
Resources keep accumulating offline, for up to 24 hours once you unlock the progression upgrades that extend it.
Recruit soldiers
Train troops and develop your army so your kingdom can answer every threat.
Research and upgrade
Invest in research and upgrades to make your fortress, economy and defences stronger over time.
Walls, towers and the art of defence
Enemy raids will test every weakness. Your defences decide whether your kingdom stands.
Strengthen your walls and gates, raise defensive towers and bring cannons to bear. Prepare your soldiers before the next raid arrives, because enemies attack in waves and different enemy types bring specialised abilities to the battlefield.
Sieges that grow with you
The stronger your fortress becomes, the more dangerous your enemies grow.
Raids escalate into full sieges. Powerful enemy commanders lead the assault, and surviving each one demands better planning, stronger walls and a larger army. Your progress is measured across ten Fortress Levels, each one a step from ruin towards empire.
Become the Ruler of Everything
Complete campaign missions, unlock achievements and defeat the final boss siege. Only a fortress built to withstand anything can claim the throne.
